Roberlo is committed to training

 Back to all news

Roberlo has signed several collaboration agreements for the first time to promote training with various organizations in Girona.

In 2019, the Department of Logistics has joined forces with the Center for New Opportunities (CNO), which is associated with the Catalan Employment Service, within the framework of the Start New Opportunities program, offering internships and training.

The CNO's Start New Opportunities program is a space aimed at young people aged between 16 and 24 who are looking to enter the labor market or return to the formal education system, thanks to flexible pathways and the help of a technical team of trainers, educators and psychologists.

Within this framework, and for the first time, Roberlo's team has carried out training visits with students from this organization's Logistics course, who have been able to get an in-depth view of the management, organization and distribution systems at the CIM La Selva warehouse. A logistics space covering 3,600 square meters and where more than 11,000 lines are prepared monthly and more than 135 pallets are dispatched daily.

Meanwhile, both parties have also launched a project for the first time to recruit organization users as interns. The first student to have completed an internship has in fact joined the company's Raw Materials management team.

In addition, the company has also welcomed several young students through the collaboration agreement with the Autoocupació organization. These students have been able to apply the knowledge learned through internships at the RDI, Records and Documentation Departments.

Finally, the company has also signed its first agreements this year with the Catalan Employment Service’s Center for Innovation and Occupational Training (CIFO), through which several unemployed people have received training that has enabled them to improve their professional qualifications.

Sharing knowledge and experiences

The main aim of these agreements is that young people and users of these organizations can continue their studies, improve their training or become professionals in areas such as Logistics, Operations, RDI or Documentation.

In addition to these projects, Roberlo has started the first scholarship contract in Dual Professional Training this year, in addition to participating in numerous conferences, speed dating events and links with the IQS (Chemical Institute of Sarrià), the University of Girona and secondary schools specializing in vocational training. It has at the same time finalized agreements with Feina Activa and the Adecco Foundation to add people with disabilities to its team.
