Shortly after the official inauguration of the China sales office, we continue to move into new Asian markets, this time opening a new headquarters in India.
This office has its central headquarters in New Delhi, where there is also a technical centre for the training of our distribution network. In addition to these facilities, Roberlo has four logistics warehouses, one of which is located in the city of Calcutta.
The opening took place in a private event and religious ceremony attended by the team of employees and Jaume Juher (CEO) and Llorenç Juher (Asia Director).
Our products have long been available in India. With the creation of the new sales office, we now wish to build on these foundations and the knowledge gained over such a long time with the creation of a sales-technical structure capable of supporting the country’s workshops.
The creation of this new sales office means that Roberlo has achieved a physical presence in the four countries that make up the so-called BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China), although with the inclusion of South Africa in the group, the term BRICS is currently used.
These countries have several things in common: large populations (over one billion in China and India and over one hundred and forty million in Brazil and Russia), large geographical areas (close to 38.5 million km²), and, most importantly, huge growth figures both for their gross domestic product (GDP) and for their share in world trade markets in the last few years.
Roberlo, continuing with the international expansion process which began in the nineties, therefore wishes not only to sell products in these countries, but also has a commitment to having premises in each market in order to know it better and to bring the best service to every client, wherever they may be.
